Product Manager for Apify Store (Social Media Tools)

In line with our mission, we're on the lookout for an enthusiastic product manager to join the Apify Store team. Your role will involve being the driving force behind Apify Actors (ready-made scraping tools in Apify Store), while also helping create an exceptional overall user experience and upgrading Apify Store 🦾
What you will do:
- Manage a group of our Actors for Social Media.
- Closely collaborate with your Actors team (respective Actors developers, PMM, and tester). Become the bridge between the Actors users and the Actors developers. Help the developers understand user needs and the product vision of each Actor.
- Actively engage with users of the Actors, addressing issues and conducting user calls to grasp their needs and pinpoint potential areas for enhancement.
- Utilize various monitoring tools and resources to track the performance data of Actors, detecting any emerging trends, positive or negative.
- Participate in strategic discussions and decision-making regarding the Store's direction alongside the Head of Store and other Product Managers.
- Contribute to shaping the marketing strategy for Actors and work closely with the Product marketing manager and the whole marketing team to execute it effectively.
- Collaborate with stakeholders involved in Store-related matters, including support, sales, and technical consultants.
- Bring forward innovative ideas for enhancing our tools, refining testing processes, and optimizing the overall workflow.
- Ensure that the Actors adhere to legal and ethical standards, particularly regarding data privacy and public data access.
- Monitor and analyze competitor solutions to identify market gaps and keep our Actors competitive.
- Define and track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure success and prioritize improvements.
- Respond promptly to critical incidents, coordinating between developers and support teams to resolve issues.
- Propose and execute strategies to grow revenue, such as pricing adjustments.

- You have stellar English skills - both spoken and written.
First month:
- Familiarize yourself with the Apify platform and Apify Store, distinguishing between Apify-managed and community Actors.
- Onboard and acquaint yourself with various Apify teams, including Engineering, Delivery, Growth, Data, Marketing, and Sales.
- Initiate onboarding within your designated Actor group, gain an understanding of scraped websites, familiarize yourself with the Actor teams, and undergo technical training.
- Acquire proficiency with essential Apify tools such as Apify Console, GitHub, ZenHub, etc.
Months 2-4:
- Get onboarded into customer calls and take your first calls on your own.
- Become familiar with data metrics and concepts relevant to your Actors, monitoring them regularly and drawing insightful conclusions.
- Together with developers from your team, you will actively manage user issues with your Actors and gather valuable user insights.
- Collaborate in sprint planning for your Actor team in coordination with the Actor Lead Developer.
- Proactively engage in Apify Store team meetings and discussions and contribute - we thrive on active collaboration.
- Together with Product Marketing Manager work on marketing strategy for your Actors.
4 months and beyond:
- Assume complete ownership of all aspects related to your respective Actors, demonstrating leadership in product enhancement.
- Take charge of an additional area outside your Actor group, independently managing and driving initiatives (e.g., collaboration with the Support Team).
- Proactively identify opportunities for product improvement and lead initiatives to implement them.
- Commit to ongoing product learning and personal growth to continually enhance effectiveness in the role.
- Understand competition for your Actors within Apify Store and outside of Apify.
